Laying a Foundation for Success
Sometimes being the first to market isn't always the best position to be in.
It's called the BLEEDING edge for a reason. Even if the public is HUNGRY for your product or service, you have the daunting task of reaching out and letting people know that your product or service exists. Because it's cutting edge, people aren't looking for you... so you have to come to them.
That means a MASSIVE awareness campaign, which can take months or even years. You'd better have deep pockets if you're going to introduce an entirely new product or service.
Web 2.0 is FULL of incredible applications that you don't know exist. Applications that could CHANGE YOUR LIFE if you knew where to look. And unless they can find a way to let you know about their web site.... you'll never know.
